Homepage redesign
A data-based redesign of the Cisco intranet homepage, also known as Bridge or CEC.
Opportunity
Cisco’s homepage serves as a primary entry point to a vast ecosystem of products, resources, news, and company information. Over time, the experience had accumulated content and navigation patterns that made it harder for employees to quickly find what they needed. The redesign created an opportunity to simplify the experience, improve findability, and establish a more purposeful content hierarchy.
Strategy
I approached the redesign as both a content and experience problem. I evaluated how information was organized, how employees moved through the homepage, and how different types of content competed for attention. The goal was to create a clearer information architecture and a more intentional hierarchy—making the most important content easier to discover while creating a scalable foundation for future updates.
Design
Working across content strategy, information architecture, UX, and visual design, I helped rethink the structure and experience of the homepage. Content was reorganized around user needs and behaviors, with clearer pathways into deeper experiences. I also focused on creating consistent patterns that could be reused across the broader Cisco intranet experience.
Outcome
The redesigned homepage created a more streamlined, purposeful entry point for employees and established a stronger foundation for the evolving intranet experience. The project brought together content, design, and product thinking to turn a complex information environment into a more intuitive experience.
